Dinniman to Debate Opponent on October 23
WEST CHESTER (August 17, 2016) – State Senator Andy Dinniman will debate Jack London on Sunday, October 23 at 2 p.m. at Borough Hall in West Chester in an event sponsored and moderated by the League of Women Voters of Chester County.
“I plan to discuss real issues and the real work I’ve done for Chester County,” Dinniman said. “Many of us can’t tell where Jack London stands on the issues from anything he’s said or done. Maybe we’ll find out who he is and what he stands for. Maybe not.”
The League of Women Voters of Chester County (LWVCC) has a long history of organizing, moderating, and holding candidate debates and forums in Chester County. The organization is recognized as an independent and impartial source of information for all voters. Dinniman said he encourages all of the candidates running for office at all levels of government to take part in similar debates or forums.
“We’ve always had these debates in Chester County, and I’ve always participated,” Dinniman said. “The people of Chester County know that, they know me, they know the difference I’ve made, and they know how I continue to fight for them. I plan to discuss all of that and more on October 23.”
Dinniman also thanked the League of Women Voters and the Borough of West Chester for organizing and hosting the event.
